Youth Fantasy Writing Contest

The Fantasy Writing Contest for Teens and Tweens begins January 1!

Do you enjoy writing fantastical stories? Put your imagination to work and enter our Fantasy Writing Contest for Teens and Tweens in grades 6-12! Create an original story using 500-1000 words and including the key words: cello, glitter, turquoise, and stepbrother. The submission deadline is January 31. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded to winners in grades 6-8 and grades 9-12. Contest submissions will be published in Prescott Public Library’s #ZINE, available on the library’s website and in print in Spring 2023.

The writing contest is sponsored by the Teen Advisory Group (TAG), with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
