National Library Week

Ready, set, library! National Library Week is April 7–13, and Prescott Public Library encourages everyone in the community to visit the library to explore all we have to offer. Libraries give us a green light to experience something truly special: a place to connect with others, learn new skills, and pursue our passions through book clubs, storytimes, concerts, lectures, and more. Prescott Public Library offers a wide array of resources, including seeds for gardening, book club kits, backpacks for hiking, and more!

Join us for the National Library Week kick-off on Saturday, April 6 at the Prescott Farmer’s Market, where library staff will be sharing information, issuing new library cards, giving out fun craft projects, and hosting a special visit from the children’s character, Biscuit the Dog from 8:30 to 10 am!

Special Guest Biscuit will meet and gift children with a FREE book at:

  • Toddler Storytime on Tuesday April 9 at 9:30 am and 10:30 am
  • Preschool Storytime on Wednesday April 10 at 10 am

So, get ready to explore, become inspired, and connect with others this National Library Week. Prescott Public Library is there for you, all the way to the finish line.

Presented with funding from the fabulous Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
