Fest in the West

In celebration of Prescott Public Library’s fifty-year anniversary at our Goodwin Street location and over a century of total service to the community, we will be hosting a large, after-hours event at Prescott Public Library on Friday, May 30 from 5-8 pm. People of all ages are invited to come enjoy live music, youth activities, and a resource fair. Bring your Library Passport and redeem your stamps for tickets you can put toward a number of fun prize drawings for a range of ages!

Event FAQ

Is there a cost to attend? Fest in the West is a non-ticketed event that is free and open to the public.

Where should I park? Library parking lots will be inaccessible on Friday, May 30. Additionally, portions of Marina and Goodwin St will be blocked off to traffic. Street parking is available on nearby roads, but visitors are encouraged to use the downtown parking garage at 135 S Granite St, Prescott, AZ 86303. Shuttle service from the parking garage may be available during the event. TBD.

Will there be food? Yes! A number of food tents will be available on site at an additional cost.

Can I bring my own food and drink? Bottled water and other non-alcoholic beverages are allowed at Fest in the West. All beverages must be in containers with lids. Outside food is not permitted.

Can I bring my dog/pet? Only service dogs trained to perform tasks for individuals with disabilities are permitted. Emotional Support Animals and other pets are not allowed.

Can I use my Library Passport stamps to enter the prize drawings if I am not able to make it to Fest in the West? Yes! Two prizes (one for adults and one for youth) will be available for early prize drawing entries from Sunday, May 25 through Thursday, May 29. All other prize drawings can be entered anytime on Friday, May 30, including during regular library hours and at Fest in the West. Please note: stamps redeemed for the early prize drawing tickets cannot be used again for the May 30 prize drawings.
